About The Learning Partnership

Our mission is to inspire and equip today’s students to become the changemakers and problem solvers of tomorrow. Working at the intersection of education, innovation and inclusivity, The Learning Partnership is a registered national Canadian charity leading design and delivery of innovation education programs focused on young learners in publicly funded schools across Canada. Our programs build the essential skills and global competencies students will need for the future in three ways: they are delivered through teachers to enhance provincial curricula; are aligned with Canada’s ambitious innovation agenda; and are made available to students, parents and educators through the generous support of our education, corporate, government, foundation and strategic partners.

We believe that diversity drives innovation. We know that too many students from racialized, marginalized and low socio-economic communities face barriers to participation in innovation education. The Learning Partnership is committed to significantly expanding our reach to these students who, in addition to the wider digital divide and opportunity gaps they already face, have been disproportionately affected by educational disruptions due to COVID-19.

The Learning Partnership is a small team of big believers in the creativity and potential of Canada’s younger learners to solve the biggest challenges the world and our communities are facing today and tomorrow. We aspire to live by the values and global competencies we bring to our student programs including creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, self-directed learning and global citizenship.
